I used windows xp remember password to remember one of my passwords. now I have forgotten the pass. I have administrative account on that computer. show me please how to see saved remembered passwords.

Thats just password replacement. What if you need the actual password?
how do you retrieve a forgotten password? if you are already logged in, is there a way to view the current password?
hi, i have forgotten my password for my windows XP addministor account and can only go into my limmited account that i created, is there anyway i can retrieve my password? I havent created a password backup disk. And when i go into the folder ‘documents and settings’ there is a folder which says ‘default user’ why is that there? please can you help i have very important documents on the account.

if you have networked your pc to any network try \127.0.0.1 in start button > run and see what you can see of your hard drive

ok try rebooting your computer and press F8 and select safe mode witch will let you boot you computer and when you installed your OS if you never set a main admin password (not your admin user )it will let you log in as a admin and change any usersettings you want
if you achully have a set passwor din adminastrave do this.
MS-DOS. At the prompt, give the command “rename c:\windows\*pwl c:\windows\*zzz.”
after this it will ask you for a new password…far as i rember
O and also if you put in you windows nt,xp,200 ect and start a automaited system recorvers witch will give you a prompt with full admin access to change user info and shit.

Hey im a windows xp user on a windows 2000 school server. We have winsuite installed but we can easily take it off now!! thanx to me
but im having problems cracking into the admin password. I have a user name and a password on my harddrive since one of the administrators logid into my laptop. We cant install anything so, i must get around this. They have regedit blocked and all that stuff. Their pretty smart but there has to be a way. I dont want to reset any admin passwords just find out what it is. THanx for the help. AND PLZ DONT FLAME AT ME!

guys, thats very simple if u already have a limited account.
log into the limited account. open RUN dialog box. type “compmgmt.msc b” without the quotes. u get into the user groups and there u can change the passwords for everyone
have fun at others expenses at the same time

Windows 2000 addministor nightmare ! I have a user account but my admin has hobbled me so bad i cant do anything. I dont want to do anything evil,i just want to be able to install needed programs like paint ,RealOne,Quicktime,FlashPlayer.I cant even change the clock on this thing. I just want to be able to customize my desktop & things like that.

Hi. I was on my schools library computer and went to word and typed in c:\ and then clicked windows and found the reedit file and downloaded it. If I use a password cracker can I use those passwords to get access to the network? If so, how? What would I need to do from the msdos c: prompt

Hello, I have NT on a Laptop with a user and admin account. The user account as been locked due to the wrong PW getting entered, and I do not have the ADMIN PW.
I can not log into the machine, and I am not sure hwo to get around this..

try to get the sam-files by booting dos from a floppy with ntfsdos and crack them for example with l0phtcrack

Ok guys first thing you have to do is figure out the pass to your bios than what you want to do is change the boot order to boot from floppy or cd than you can go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ and download the iso file for the boot disk i prefer the boot cd but if the computers bios dosnt support boot cds than there are boot disks ok you make your cd buy opening up the iso file it will automaticly make you a disk than you boot the com with the floppy or cd in the driveit should scroll threw a bunch of bullshit really fast than itll ask you if you want to searc for scsi drivers y or n my school dosnt use scsi drivers so i click n but its up to you itll do a search and itll find the sam files there you have the option to reg edit or change pass press button for change pass blank it out since injecting a pass dosnt always work blank itout give it the old alt cntrl delete and and login as administrator no pass and off the network for that com only from there you can prolly change the network pass but im not sure
HELP!!! I’ve set up an admin. account on windows xp home edition and i literally forgot the new password that i’ve put in. Can someone please help me to get back in. I already set up an account for my cousin on my PC, but its limited, and i seriously need to get into my account… please someone help
Anyone who forgets password… is uugm really stupid!!!! & hacking admin passwords someone else knows and you don¥t, use a freaking key logger.. fuck up your limited acces account.. and let m log in with the administrator account… read the contents of you keylogger and bam!!! your in the game…. seems eazy 2 me
Hi all, I want to be able get into the registry or preferably the run dialog box on my school win 2000 machines but can;t. is there any way round this? plus, can i make malicious macro’s to delte key file’s?
a fiend of mine found something really cool. if your in a network and you’re a limited user who cant install/run all executables, you can get around it: send the file to a compressed folder and run it from there. you can do this to run any program that you wouldnt be allowed to (i think) plus you can also run massive programs that you couldn’t normally due to lack of RAM
