I lived in a Wyndham for about 6 months last year. Wayport used to be free for By Request members... and since By Request is free it is a no brainer to join.

Same here, I loved the Wayport service. The Wayport support staff was even friendly and helpful whenever I needed them. Most of the Wyndhams with Wayport also provide their wireless service. It's usually only available in the lobby and conference rooms, but in my experience there's also a fair amount of bleed into adjacent guest rooms.

As for ByRequest, it puts every other hotel chain to shame. I loved walking into the Dallas hotel room and knowing there would be something provided that I had picked out on their website (usualy fruit and a bottle of water and or wine). You can even pick what paper you'd like in the morning. Of course, Wyndham doesn't provide the other frequent guest perks that a lot of the competitors do, but the combo of the in room service and the general standard of living wins in my book.
