reading Prey
Published 5 years, 10 months ago in life storiesI’ve read two pages of Prey by Michael Crichton tonight.
I’m hooked.
This particular quote from the intro is what has hooked me:
“We are one of only three species on our planet that can claim to be self-aware, yet self-delusion may be a more sigificant characteristic of our kind.”
Looks like a good book… more later when I’m done with it.

I might jump into that one too - I’ve been trying to get through
Perdido Street Station for weeks now and I’m just not able to churn through it like I need to on vacation. Got a whole pile to get through!
