I gave my father-in-law an old iBook this weekend. It was a white iBook G3 with a 700MHz G3 processor and 640MB of RAM. He’s in love with it. Read his first post about the iBook here. Heh, I love it when you can introduce people to Macintosh…

I was commenting on your father-in-law’s blog … his entry was the second I read tonight that mentioned an Apple II … the other was on William Gibson’s blog. The Apple II was his first computer … he had written the famous Sci-Fi novel Neuromancer on a 1933 Hermes typewriter. Hey … that was 1981.
I caught his blog as I was again reminded of his book Pattern Recognition in relation to YouTube clips on LonelyGirl15 and Bus Uncle. It’s a great book …
